Lesa is starting a new chemo regiment and needs our help!

While I know it has been a while since you have heard from us, I am here to share an update about our dearest friend Lesa Weaver!

Lesa has been in a courageous battle against Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer for 6 years now!! As you can all imagine this has been incredibly challenging both emotionally and financially.

Lesa recently found out that the existing Chemo treatments she’s been taking have now stopped working, and her cancer is back, this time it is in the Left Frontal Lobe of her brain. While this news is incredibly heartbreaking, in true Lesa fashion, she is ready to fight, like she has been for these last 6 years.

Lesa will be starting a new chemo regiment that consists of two different types of drugs as well as radiation and possible brain surgery.

Unfortunately, these treatments come with a significant financial burden that is overwhelming for her, especially since she lives on a very low fixed income. The costs of the treatments along with other medical-related expenses, even after her insurance, are far beyond what she can manage alone.

Despite these hardships, Lesa remains incredibly strong and hopeful. As her friends, we are determined to help support her during this difficult time. We are reopening her Go Fund Me account to help cover the cost of her treatments and other related expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference and bring us one step closer to ensuring she gets the care she needs.
