Our family is reaching out to our community to help someone who has always been the first to help others

Les was diagnosed in December with Myasthenia Gravis, a lifelong autoimmune condition that will need ongoing medication and management. While doctors were investigating, they also discovered a tumour on his thymus gland.

Les has just undergone major surgery to remove it, and while we are so grateful it was found, his recovery will be long. He will be unable to work for at least three months and will need extensive physiotherapy to regain his strength.

Les is a proud man who would never ask for help himself… so we’re doing it for him.

Anyone who knows Les knows he is the kind of man who drops everything to help and lend a hand, without ever asking or expecting for anything in return. Now it’s our turn to stand beside him while he heals.
