Charlene & the beloved Les Henig financial support

It is with a heavy heart to let everyone know that m Best Friend Forever, Leslie Neal Henig, passed away on March 13, 2021, here at home, in my arms, something that we both wanted, and I will hold onto the rest of my life. He fought a brave and courageous battle, for over a year, remaining positive and hopeful throughout it all. His spinal cord injury which resulted in paralysis, infections, and pneumonia, were the final struggles he just could not overcome, and the only consolation is that he is no longer in pain or suffering and finally at peace.  My true warrior never ever complained once, up until the very end. He cared and worried more about me than himself, being the primary caregiver, and the toll it was taking on my body. He couldn’t bear to see this, and yet, all the time we shared together allowed us to become even closer...I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. At the end, his body was failing, he was so tired after this long and Courageous encounter. For better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health....we covered all of the vows in our 44 years together. He was truly loved by so many, and will be missed by all those who really knew him, a devastating loss for us all. Rest In Peace my love...my Honey...until we meet again.
