Hi, my name is Camille and I’m fundraising for my father, Leroy Lindsay, a man who has spent his entire life lifting others up. Now, he needs our help.
In 2024, just after his second retirement, Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer at age 79 despite annual checks showing no cancer.
He and Mom had finally planned to travel a bit more and enjoy the retirement he’d worked so hard for. Instead, they’ve had to remain in the US for treatment, unfortunately too far from their beloved Jamaica (due to treatments being only a week or so apart) and the life they’d envisioned.
Dad has dedicated decades to aviation, serving people (and companies) across countries and continents. He’s helped countless individuals find jobs, advance their careers, better their lives, and discover their purpose. He’s the kind of person who gives without expecting anything in return—which is exactly why he would never ask for help, even now.
The reality is that his life savings are being depleted by expensive cancer treatments. The money that should have carried him comfortably through retirement is disappearing, and though he mentions his concerns (to mom) daily, he refuses to burden anyone with his struggles.
I’m creating this fund without his knowledge because I believe that those whose lives he’s touched deserve the chance to give back. The funds raised will help offset his medical bills and hopefully allow him and Mom to return home to Jamaica, where his heart truly belongs.
My goal is to reach the target by his birthday in June 2026, when I plan to present this gift to him—a testament to the love and gratitude of everyone he’s helped throughout his remarkable life.
If my father ever made a difference in your life, please consider contributing. No amount is too small, and every donation brings him one step closer to peace of mind and the retirement he deserves.
Thank you for helping me help the man who has helped so many.
