Leroy Wass Morrill's Memorial Fund

Yesterday, our dear friend Angie Morrill lost her beautiful son, Leroy Wass Morrill to a fatal stabbing.  He had his whole life ahead of him as a young adult and his life was taken from him from a senseless act that has left his family and mother searching for answers. If you know Angie Morrill, you know that she is a mother and this identity and role has been a large purpose of the work she does as a writer, mentor, educator, and activist.  I know all UCSD alumni folks have so much love for her.  Leroy and Angie had such a dynamic relationship - loved each other hard, pushed each other to be better, they had endless love and laughter for each other.

Please consider sending your thoughts, prayers, and donations to help our dear friend Angie as she tries to piece together a proper "See you later" for her beautiful baby boy. We are setting up this memorial fund in hopes to help cover all funeral costs and all memorial costs.
