On Monday, Nov 8th @3pm, my Dad was on his way to Bakersfield to have lunch with my Mom. On his way there, while riding on the Freeway 99, a truck in front of him lost a car part (drive shaft) and my Dad didn't have time to avoid it...so he hit it, and flew about 60 feet off his motorcycle across 3 lanes, causing horrible road rash to his skin (body & face), landing onto the right shoulder. He was conscious for a bit, asking paramedics for my Mom (Frances) multiple times. He ended up getting transmitted to Bakersfield hospital, where he is currently in trauma, with multiple broken bones. (Arm, finger, ankles, knee, ribs, spine & more severe injuries.) He has been sedated since he got transmitted since he has a breathing tube connected to him since his ribs are broken.

At this moment, we are still waiting on more information..
& most importantly waiting for him to wake up to talk to him.

Since he is in Bakersfield, my Mom (Frances) is driving to and from Dinuba (where they live), back and forth, and can really use the help to get a hotel as close to the hospital as possible (she is not allowed to stay the night with him in hospital), to be close to him and check in every few hours without having to drive back home to shower, sleep and eat. (& gas back and forth is a fortune these days)

Anything will and can help. We are also definitely going to be using this GoFundMe for his medical costs, recovery, therapy & much more we have coming our way.. **We are hoping to make more shirts soon to also help us raise money, they will be available at his shop, Darkside Ink, in Dinuba, by Thursday the 11th. (Anyone can stop by during shop hours: Wed-Sat, 11:30am-7pm)**

We know he will get through this, Slowly... but surely. & he needs my Mom with him every step of the way.
We ALL know how tough he is... & we all know my Mom CANNOT live without him, or him without her.
30 years of love (since 1991), and it definitely won't stop here.

It will be a long, lonnngggg journey, so we really ask for ALL your prayers for his recovery, and hope he is back to his funny, loving, crazy self!
If there is one thing he loves in life, it's his family ❤️ & making people laugh/smile. (if you are reading this now, you know what I mean!) We can't wait to hear him joke around and laugh again.. we'd do anything to hear his voice right now..

Thank you to anyone who donates, even the smallest amount is a blessing for us now.

Much much love, Family of Lepps
