I had just went on my maternity leave in March, when my 8 year old son, Leo had began to fall ill. It was countless trips to the ER and appointments with one doctor and then another, trying to find out what exactly he had. Finally after almost a month my son was rushed to UC Davis with what doctors thought was a brain bleed. Finally on April 23, 2023 he was diagnosed with malignant tumors on his skull, legs and organs. That same day I gave birth to Leo’s baby sister. Leo’ diagnoses was confirmed as Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma, by than his cancer had spread throughout his body. My son has been receiving intense chemotherapy, where he has to be admitted to the hospital for days to weeks at times. It has taken me a while to create this account because my last resort was to ask for help, but the endless trips to the hospital and doctors visits, a new born and bills stacking up, has become too over whelming. Leo is a warrior and continues to fight everyday! He has more chemotherapies ahead of him and long road to recovery. No child should have to miss a part of their childhood, and no new mother should have to go through such immense stress. My career has been put on hold and will continue to as I am the main caregiver for him. Through these difficult time we ask that you please help with anything you can. Estoy pidiendo donaciones para mi hijo Leo. Leo fue llevado de emergencias a UC Davis con lo Que pensaban era un sangramiento en el cerebro. Despues de días Los doctors confirmaron que Leo tenia tumores cancerosos en su cranio, pies, piernas y organos. El 23 de Abril el mismo dia que di a luz a mi hija, la hermana menor de Leo. Fue confirmado que Leo tenia Lymphoma un cancer muy agressivo. A tan solo 8 años Leo estado reciviendo quimioterapias intensivas, las cuales cuasan que sea admitido al hospital.
