Hi, my name is Kate and my family and I are trying to raise funds to help my sister Jenna, Warren and nephew Leo navigate their challenge of fighting AML Leukemia.

Our beautiful boy Leo is the light of Jenna and Warren’s lives — full of laughter, curiosity, and the biggest heart. He loves gaming and his comfys and even on the toughest days, he finds a way to smile and make us laugh. But their world was shattered when Leo was diagnosed with AML leukaemia. No parent is ever prepared to hear those words and to know they are going to have to watch him go through countless hospital stays, painful treatments, and long days away from home will be been heartbreaking.

This journey is going to be long and difficult, it’s not just going to be emotionally draining, it’s going to be financially overwhelming too. Jenna has stopped working so she can be with Leo every step of the way.

This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden upon us and to make sure Leo has everything he needs during treatment — from the essentials that keep our family afloat, to little comforts that make his long days in hospital a bit brighter to keep his spirits up. It will also help with food whilst on hospital and car parking.
