On 9/29/2024 baby boy Leo Boucher was born at 30 weeks weighing 2 lbs 5 oz. He was born with a very premature set of lungs and has been in the NICU for 2 months. He has been intubated 3 times and is requiring a lot of support from a ventilator to breathe. He has bronchopulmonary dysplasia, which is a chronic lung disease. It is likely that he will need a lot of medical support when he leaves the hospital. His mom has been out of work to stay at the hospital with Leo, and his dad has been working long hours to make ends meet during this difficult time. They will likely have to stay at home for a while to help care for Leo’s medical needs as well when he eventually gets discharged. We are hoping to raise money to help ease the financial burden this has caused and to help with medical bills, living expenses, etc. Leo is such a strong little fighter and is just the sweetest baby.
