Leo's Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer Journey

Hello My name is Frank, I am setting a GoFundMe on behalf of my godchild Leo who was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 2B Hodgkin Lymphoma. Leo is 12 years old boy prior to being diagnosed Leo lived a normal life. This news has turned his life upside down as you can imagine as a 12 year old. January 2024 Leo was brought to Waterford Hospital with lumps on his neck and they sent him home with antibiotics. Days later had to go back down to Waterford as more lumps started to appear on his body, from this Waterford hospital referred him to Crumlin Hospital to be tested for Cancer as they done all they could do for him there. Leo was diagnosed within days and began treatment with nearly immediate effect. He had surgery to remove lumps from his neck and is still continuing chemo every week. As we all know the cost of living is very expensive and with all the travelling up and down to Dublin as Noreen (Leo's Mam) doesn't drive herself. It is very costly for her each week as they have to stay overnight after treatment because Leo's body is so tired and he's very underweight which is why I would like to ask for help as donations will help cover regular travel up and down to Crumlin hospital and overnight stays which is currently once a week at the moment. So we the extended family feel powerless and hoping to raise significant funds for this brave little boy as he continues his battle with this horrible disease. Noreen is a single mam and used to work 15 hours a week to get by to support her children with Leo's diagnosis she can no longer attended work as she's now Leo's full time carer. Every cent raised will mean so much and one less worry for the family so they can focus on Leo and continue family life as best they can for he's brothers and sisters.
