Leo’s facial reconstruction surgery

Hi, my name is Shanell and I am fundraising for our son Leo James facial surgery. Leo is 21 months and has a genetic condition called Pyriform Aperture Stenosis also known as PAS. It is a rare genetic condition that causes narrowing of the nasal passages due to an overgrowth of bone. He is scheduled to have surgery May 7, 2024. The surgery is necessary to help Leo breathe normally and have a better quality of life. We are traveling from Lafayette, Louisiana to Texas Childrens for surgery. We are having to pay upfront for a portion of the surgery as well as lodging as we won’t be able to travel back right after he is discharged from the hospital.
