On 2/18/25 on his way into work, our loved one Ned “Leon” Scales tragically passed away after experiencing a major heart attack. As many of you know, Leon was near and dear in the hearts of MANY MANY of us. The EMS community was heavily impacted by his work and leadership. His daughter Anna has been left with some financial hardships regarding the funeral expenses as well as needing to get his car out of impound which is an additional several hundred dollars that was not accounted for. She is currently in Roswell trying to get his affairs in order and could also use money for a hotel, groceries and other expenses while she is up here.
