Leon’s Cancer Bills

Hi everyone… Leon here. As some of you already know, I’ve been dealing with cancer for a little while. First, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I just found out about my bone cancer. Many of you have had friends and family or even yourselves diagnosed with cancer. If so, you understand how much the cost can be for everything in your life. I’ve been paying out a ton, and even with insurance, the expenses are stacking quickly. 

I’ve already started treatment with hormone injections (chemo equivalent), and every day for the next 8-10 weeks, starting the 22nd of August, I go in for radiation sessions. So hopefully, I’ll finally have some abs around Thanksgiving..lol. 

The funds I raise will go to my monthly insurance premiums of $1300 a month, my deductible, my co-pays for every visit, for every doctor, for 53 radiation sessions, my medicines, and any labs, exams or procedures that are ordered. At this point I’m looking at an extra 8-10k per month in life and medical expenses without any complications. 

My prognosis looks good, but I have a long road ahead. If you see me out playing somewhere, remember that I’m having fun, and my mental state is important as I go through this journey. Also, I get a percentage of my income from performances, and if I can play music and pay some medical costs at the same time, I will definitely do it if I can.

I know the last couple of years have been turbulent, and everyone has their issues and needs. So if you’re able to contribute, that’s awesome, but if you don’t have the means, I get it. So hit a brother up to say what’s up.
