Leones Go to World Latin Dance Cup!

HELP GET US TO COLOMBIA!
The Leones de Oro is a high school Latin dance team from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC. We have been dancing for 5 years, spreading our talents and culture throughout the DMV region.
This past April, thanks to the support of our coach and the organizers of the Baltimore Salsa Congress, we were able to participate in the qualifying rounds of the World Latin Dance Cup. Months of hard work paid off when we performed and qualified for the semi finals of the youth salsa division!
To our surprise, the World Latin Dance Cup is being held in Medellin, Colombia this December 5th - December 15th!
Going to Colombia and representing DC and the USA would be a dream come true! However, an international trip is very expensive. THIS IS WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP! Your donation can bring us closer to achieving our goal of travelling and competing at the WORLD LATIN DANCE CUP, the most prestigious Latin dance competition in the world. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and we would love to be a part of it!

Leones de Oro es un equipo de baile latino de la escuela secundaria del Archbishop Carroll en Washington, DC. Hemos estado bailando durante 5 años, difundiendo nuestros talentos y cultura en toda la región del DMV.
El pasado abril, gracias al apoyo de nuestro entrenador y los organizadores del Congreso de Salsa de Baltimore, pudimos participar en las rondas clasificatorias de la Copa Mundial de Baile Latino. ¡Meses de arduo trabajo valieron la pena cuando actuamos y calificamos para las semifinales de la división juvenil de salsa!
Para nuestra sorpresa, ¡la Copa Mundial de Baile Latino se llevará a cabo en Medellín, Colombia, del 5 al 15 de diciembre!
¡Ir a Colombia y representar a DC y Estados Unidos sería un sueño hecho realidad! Sin embargo, un viaje internacional es muy costoso. ¡ES POR ESO QUE NECESITAMOS SU AYUDA! Su donación puede acercarnos a lograr nuestro objetivo de viajar y competir en la WORLD LATIN DANCE CUP, la competencia de baile latino más prestigiosa del mundo. ¡Celebran su décimo aniversario este año y nos encantaría ser parte de él!
