Help Leo Torres Sr. to beat Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Leo Torres, and I am fundraising for my dad (Leonardo Torres Sr). My dad and my mom recently moved to the US from Venezuela. They could obtain permanent residency through me (only child - US Citizen). We were having a happy life here in the US and living the dream. I worked so hard to bring them here legally, so they could have a comfortable retirement life close to me and, hopefully, my kids in the new future. Unfortunately, my dad started showing symptoms of illness about two months ago. I took him to the hospital personally, but they could not diagnose what was wrong. They said it could be related to depression or some sort. Because of that, I thought that sending them back to Venezuela (our home country) would help with his depression, but that was not the case. His pain throughout his whole body and weakness in his legs got worse, and he stopped walking from one day to another. He was immediately transferred to Caracas (the capital) from Bejuma (a small town) to get a more precise diagnosis. Once they arrived in Caracas, the insurance company did not cover, and the hospital would not admit my dad until a deposit was made. Thankfully, I made all payments required to have them treat my dad. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a Non- Hodgkin Lymphoma compressing his spinal cord, which caused him a lower body paralysis. . Such a diagnosis has been the worse news I have received in my entire life. I was in The US at the moment, so I decided to go to Venezuela and bring both of my parents back to the US, where I had no doubts his chances to overcome this illness were much higher. I went to Venezuela and stayed there for about six days until I could travel with my dad (in a wheelchair) and my mom (Ismara). We left Venezuela on 03/28/22 (Caracas-Dominican Republic-Newark-Cleveland) and arrived in Cleveland on 03/29/22. My dad was taken from the airport to the ER at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been in the ICU since Tuesday, 03/29/22 morning. All the tests to confirm his illness were performed. He is currently being treated with chemotherapy, and the doctors are also trying to get him stable enough to treat him with radiotherapy. The amount of money I have spent has been substantial, and I know I will need more. I will keep working hard to cover most of the expenses, and I am thankful to God that I have my mother, my wife (Rebekkah), and friends who have been a great support during this difficult time. I appreciate all my peers and friends who would like and want to collaborate on this critical and long path my family is facing, especially my dad. I appreciate any help you can provide.
