My Name is Leonardo Lopez and I am a survivor of police brutality. I was profiled by a police officer on my way to church and stopped to give a homeless man a piece of bread. Then asked if I was a citizen and told if I didn’t give him my name, age or Id that I would be arrested. I told him where I came from, what college I go to and that I was on my way to church and to deliver my grandparents a bag of bread. He then slammed me to the ground and was banging my head on the asphalt many times. He then put his knee on my hamstring and butt then put on the handcuffs while twisting them and slit them while stretching my chest and shoulder incorrectly instead of putting my hands down. I got slammed into a police car with other officers there and then taken to the wrong hospital I was told I would go to. For hours I was then taken to the Riverside Jail and put in a system as a criminal with no reason or cause. HELP me fight this criminal case against the officer and PD.
