Leonardo (DiCaprio) needs a urethra surgery

Hi, my name is Kelli. I have this beautiful young boy cat named Leo(Baby Gorgeous) who has suffered from struvite crystals in his urethra causing blockage, which can be life-threatening. This is the second time in his 4 1/2 short years that he has blocked. I have already spent 1800 this time in medical bills getting him unblocked and cared for. He’s currently in an emergency vet hospital awaiting clearance to ensure that his crystals have dissolved. (he has a catheter )

The recommendation by the vets is a surgery to shorten the urethra and reattaching it with a larger opening where he would be able to urinate more like a girl cat, which would lower the risk of obstructions, such as crystals.
