SUPPORT THE PERKINS FAMILY AS THEY MOURN THEIR LOSS, CONTINUE TO CELEBRATE LIFE, AND HEAL.

FOR: In Loving Memory of Tre....04/01/2003 - 02/24/2019

For anyone that has gone through the unfortunate experience of battling cancer, either yourself or with a loved one, you know that it is truly a struggle. There is something that feels "especially unfair" when it impacts the life of a child. The physical, mental, and emotional strains are just a part of the fight. Beyond these are the hospital stays, medicines, and missed work which lead to financials hardships.

While Tre and the Perkins family might have loss this battle with cancer, they continue to fight to win the war.

TRE'S STORY:
Tre Started playing sports at 3yrs old. And that molded him into the athlete that he was.
He played/football/ baseball/ran track.
His parents taught him that hard work is what pays off, and kept him focused in both sports and academics.

Over his years of playing he forged many strong bonds and friendships.......brotherhood.    He had so many friends who really loved him because he was that kind of person. And he loved them much.

However, Tre's best-friends were his dad and his little sister.  They share an incredible bond.

He loved his family with all of his heart and soul......and they loved (and continue to love) him in return.

Tre was diagnosed with cancer in 2017.

After rounds of chemo and other treatments Tre was diagnosed as "cancer-free" in August of 2018. His friends and family rallied and cheered.

Only to be disappointed in Oct of 2018, when the family was notified that the cancer has returned and was extremely aggressive.

For those who got to witness it live Tre was (is) an outstanding example of endurance and resilience.   A true champion of life.

For his parents the healing process will no doubt be a long, hard road and any assistance would be truly appreciated.

For anyone that does not feel comfortable making an individual contribution please consider giving the gift of hope to others and make a donation to CURE childhood cancer.
