Leonard is asking for your help to assist in saving his life. Leonard is an amazing man, son, brother, husband, and father who has been living with kidney disease since 2017. He is currently doing as best as he can by working full-time and doing home hemodialysis 4 days per week. In order for him to live, obtaining a donor kidney transplant is the best option for him or anyone living with kidney disease.

 

According to the US Department of Health and Human Service’s National Institute and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 786,000 people in the United States are living with End-Stage Kidney Disease. Of those, over 90,000 are on the waitlist for a kidney transplant. To increase Leonard’s chances of receiving a kidney donation as quickly as possible, he is on the waitlist of 3 transplant centers- Ochsner Transplant Center, Houston Methodist Transplant Center, and UMMC Health Care Transplant Center in Mississippi. The cost for travel, lodging, insurance copays, and taking time off from work has caused a financial burden.
