Most of you know that Karen just thought she needed new glasses, and the eye doctor bashed her bubble by announcing "it's a tum-ah".  In keeping with her normal comedic outlook, she named it Leon and immediately notified him of pending eviction.  His large but squishy butt was hauled out of her pituitary gland without hesitation by rock star neurosurgeon Dr. Oyasiku (O-a-see-qu) at Emory University Hospital on Thursday, August 6th.  Having saved the best surgery for last, Dr. O announced Leon had left the building at 10:50PM.  Unfortunately, as he vacated, Leon hammered the walls, wailed on the floors and ripped hinges off the doors.  Her pituitary is structurely sound but the recovery bill is massive.  Insurance will do its part (have to insert my own "Thank the Lord" here), but to help Karen with the rest, a close friend (Good thinking,Brenda!) came up with the idea of starting this GoFundMe account.  We've estimated the minimum portion of Leon's eviction bill that Karen will have to eat.  If you want to make swallowing the big bite a little easier, please feel free to contribute anything you find comfortable.  In advance, I can assure you that any and all gifts will be tremendously appreciated.   The end result may total much more.  However, if there is anything unused, it will be donated to Karen's favorite pet charity to benefit fur-babies in need.
