Hi, my name is Leon Dixon (@leondixonpianist) and I'm raising money to help with my current financial situation.

It took a while to put this fundraiser together as I have been toying with the idea for weeks, but my pride was getting in the way. I have never done anything like this before, but it has come to a point in my life that I have to stop thinking about what people might say, or think of me doing this and just step out in faith that God will provide for me through this platform.

After such a successful 2024, the new year, 2025 has been a VERY difficult year for me so far. Due to different challenges, through no fault of my own, these challenges have affected my finances negatively in a MASSIVE way, however I have been pushing through it all and ultimately just getting on with life, as such.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have spent many years of my life blessing people with my gift of music, playing piano, the gift that God has given me from a young age, and all I need right now is a financial blessing to get back on track and to be able to continue to do what I do.

I am in a position where I am now putting on a smile. When people ask how I am, I am saying that I am good, but behind closed doors I am struggling, feeling low and having difficulty sleeping at nights and I have just had to say to myself that “enough is enough”. I really need people’s prayers and, if possible, your financial assistance.

Just over 18 months ago I purchased a low mileage used Audi A4 car and in January I started to have some issues with it. I have had a mechanic “attempt” to fix my car, taking £100’s from me, making false promises and keeping hold of the car for numerous weeks, and then disappear without it being fixed. He got the car going, I drove it for 2 days and then it stopped again. I located the mechanic, took my car back, I then got it towed to another reputable garage in Croydon and they have stated that the engine is beyond economical repair and therefore it needs replacing. All of my savings that I had at the beginning of the year have now gone and every job that I have had since has been costing me more to get there and back, so financially things aren’t working in my favour at the moment. The car issue has impacted on me being able to get from A to B easily and as you know, being a full-time musician I often have to bring equipment around with me, so sometimes I have had to be hiring cars to be able to work, so I really need my car to be back on the road asap.

Due to the cost of the replacement engine and my current financial situation, I really need to raise finances externally. I am also locating extra work to assist in me getting back on my feet again.

in conclusion, whatever you can assist with, every penny counts right now and it will be appreciated more than you realise.

I totally appreciate that so many people are struggling financially, so if you cannot give anything, I totally understand. All I would ask instead is for your prayers to help get me through this difficult season of my life.
