Hi, my name is Cara Jeannis I live at 25 Hamilton Street in Leominster, Ma. My house was completely flooded and destroyed due to the flash floods that occurred yesterday. My car was drifted away from my house in the midst of the storm and is now totaled. I am currently living in a hotel for the next 3 days with my husband and my dog. Once these 3 days are over I will be homeless due to the current state of my house. The railroad tracks behind my house nearly collapsed on top of the house while I was trapped inside with my dog. The firemen had to come and rescue me through the window. I am very shaken, overwhelmed and distraught over this situation. Everything that I have is now gone overnight and I have no where to call home or a car anymore. I won’t be able to get to work without my car as I am a home health aide and take care of the elderly.
