Es con gran tristeza y tremenda pena que queremos compartir con ustedes que nuestro padre, Leobardo Mendez-Amezcua ha fallecido inesperadamente.

Era un maravilloso padre, abuelo, hermano y marido, y el mejor amigo que alguien pudiera tener. Tenía un corazón grande y amable y le dio a todos respeto, amor y paciencia. Durante 29 años vivió en la misma casa en Central Avenida y su puerta siempre estuvo abierta para todos. A lo largo de los años, ayudó a varios amigos y familiares a recuperarse al darles un lugar donde quedarse. Él nunca rechazó a nadie. ¡Leo amaba a su esposa e hijos y adoraba a sus nietos! Él era realmente un hombre de familia. Tenía un buen sentido de humor , y si alguien estaba deprimido, soltaría una broma divertida solo para hacerlo reír. Leo va ser extrañado por todos.

Leo pasaba todos los días con sus hijos y nietos. No pueden imaginar el dolor que estamos sintiendo. Necesitamos sus oraciones ¡Dios los bendiga!

It is with great sadness and immeasurable grief we want to share with you that our dad, Leobardo Mendez-Amezcua has unexpectedly passed away.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, bother and husband and the greatest frined anyone could ever ask for. He had a huge, kind heart and he gave everyone respect, love, and patience. For 29 years he lived in the same house on Central Avenue and his door was always open to anyone and everyone. Throughout the years, he helped multiple friends and family members to get back on their feet by giving them a place to stay. He never turned anyone away. Leo loved his wife and children and adored his grandchildren! He was truly a family man. He had a crazy sense of humor and if you were down he would crack some funny joke just to make you laugh. Leo will be terribly missed by all. 

Leo spent every single day with his children and grandchildren. You can't imagine the hurt we are feeling. We need your prayers. God bless!

We are trying to raise money to cover the costs of his funeral. This price range includes the casket, preparations and services at the funeral home, burial in a cemetery, and the installation of a headstone.
