Help save Leo the lab with an urgent operation

Hello,
I'm Jess and this is my dog, Leo.
Leo is the most loving, happy, 4-year-old labrador you will ever meet. If you came across him in any circumstance, he would immediately roll onto his back and demand a tummy scratch before kissing you goodbye. He is my furbaby and I adore him.
I bought Leo when I was 16 and have worked tirelessly to give him the cushiest life possible. He has become part of my family over the last four years and I don't know what I would do without him. In turn, he has been my emotional support when times have been tough.
This week, he suddenly became very ill and insurance and my savings has so far covered the CT scans and tests needed to find out what the problem is.
Today, he was diagnosed with a pyothorax condition with multiple abscesses in his lungs and down his oesophagus. The surgery to amend such a condition is £8000.
With the expenditure needed to get to this diagnosis as well as the medication he now needs to keep him going, £8000 is heartbreakingly not a sum I can afford. I am a student and I simply cannot earn money fast enough, even working full-time.
Leo is managing day-to-day on antibiotics and painkillers that manage the symptoms, pain and shortness of breath but this cannot continue forever. At some point, a decision I don't want to make may have to be decided upon as a last resort. A decision I am trying everything to avoid, especially as at not yet 5, he is so young.
With the surgery, the prognosis is very positive with a high quality of life after and a low chance of reoccurrence.
I am appealing to anyone who can afford to part with some funds to help ease the amount needed to give my precious dog the surgery he needs to continue living life as he deserves. Anything, no matter how small, would be more than greatly appreciated and allow me more of a chance to save my much-loved dog.
Please help if you can, and thank you for reading this.
