Leo & Delilah keep their home during cancer fight

Hi my name is Leo for those of you who don't know me. I am not usually the type to ask for help like this. However considering my current situation I need to set my pride side to make sure I can keep my home and have some security for my daughter Delilah.

The last year has been one of the hardest years of my life and of Delilah's life.

We had built a family life with the person I was in a relationship with. Then some truths came to light and that all fell apart. My now ex fiancee moved out of the home she had bought for us as our starter home because she decided she wasn't ready to live with a child, then shortly after things were discovered that brought about the end of the relationship. I obviously didn't see this coming considering I was planning on getting married, this was a huge blow to both me and Delilah. We love her very much so it's been a big struggle for us.

She then informed me she would give me until the end of December to buy her out of the house or she would need to sell it. Which added more stress to the plate and I started looking into loans. However during that process I got some health news that shook me harder than probably anything I've ever faced.

Doctors discovered a tumor in my colon a couple months ago. I had surgery to have the tumor removed and discovered that it was stage 2 cancer. We were hopeful that this would eliminate the issue, however that was not the case unfortunately. The cancer made it into my bloodstream and I was told I would need to start chemo treatments right away. After my first treatment it was clear to me that I wasn't going to be able to work full time due to side effects and having to miss at least a day of work a week. I also can't afford to take on a loan payment on top of everything else RN now.

I'm a single dad to a 5 year old girl, I have family for moral support and a little financial help but not on the level I need help with RN.

I'm usually very private about these types of things and I have kept all of this info to only family and my closest friends until now because I have run out of options to make sure me and Delilah don't lose our home. I also want to be able to provide for her. We've been through a lot the last few years and we need help now.

I rarely ever ask anyone for anything and I always go out of my way to help others. So now I'm asking anyone who can help to please give what you can. Every bit helps.

Please help me make sure Delilah's life doesn't get any harder. She doesn't know about my cancer because I feel like that's too much for a 5 year old to take on. Especially since her only knowledge of cancer is that people die from it.
