Leo and I need some help

Apartment living can be tricky. Especially in Austin... People, with good intention, throw out food for squirrels and birds without thinking of other residents walking their dogs. Leo is super food driven and is FAST when he smells something. I couldn't tell you how many times I had to pry dead animals and toxic thrown food scraps out of his mouth. Psa- grapes, raisins, cashews, garlic. He finally ingested something that has really taken its toll on his body. For the first time in the 9 years I've had him, I had to turn him over to ER vets. Because of his pre-existing conditions (extra vertebrae & seasonal allergies) I unfortunately opted out of a high cost premium for insurance. If you know me, you know I am a helicopter pet mom. I have done everything to avoid this kind of situation and this time, I failed. I never saw this coming and it's hurting us right now. If you can help, we'd greatly appreciate it. He is close to celebrating his 10th birthday and I would love to still be able to do that with him.
