Hi, my name is Tara, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for help for my beloved dog, Lenny.

Lenny isn’t just a pet, he’s family. He’s been by my side through life’s ups and downs, always offering his gentle presence, unconditional love, and wagging tail no matter what. Now, he’s facing the biggest challenge of his life… cancer.

It seems so cruel as he is only 4 years old but a few months ago, Lenny was diagnosed with a tumour, which has since been surgically removed. More recently, he underwent a second surgery to remove a nearby lymph node, which unfortunately tested positive for tumour cells. His veterinary team has recommended chemotherapy to help treat the remaining cancer cells and give him the best possible chance at a full recovery.

We want to start treatment as soon as we can once his leg has healed from his surgery, but unfortunately, Lenny’s pet insurance has now been exhausted. The cost of chemotherapy is more than I can manage on my own, and that’s why I’m asking for your help.

Chemotherapy can give Lenny a real fighting chance. More time to run in the park, chase his favorite toys, and just be the sweet, loving soul he’s always been. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to covering the cost of his treatment and giving him the care he deserves.
