Lenny needs medical care that can save his life

Hello everyone and God bless you! I have been through a rollercoaster of events. On the 15th of February I went into Royal Maternity hospital in Belfast to be induced to have my baby. We were told that our baby may not be able to breathe on his own when he arrived, meaning all infant doctors had to be ready to intervene.
At 7.27 pm on the 15/2/21 I gave birth to a baby boy, he came out fists up ready to fight this even crying, to our relief. After a quick cuddle our baby Lenny was rushed into ICU and put on every medicine, he had wires everywhere, we were left helpless. Less than 24 h he was rushed to Dublin for emergency surgery that lasted over 4 h long. What a long time for someone so small and so new to go through. We were told to prepare for the worst , less than a week old, Lenny developed yet another condition NEC, necrotising enterocolitis, which is a serious disease affecting the intestines. Lenny had further surgery and a PICC was inserted as Lenny needed constant fluids. He seemed to be recuperating and continued to grow all along.
The main issue with Lenny is that he was diagnosed with Hypoplastic, right heart syndrome, one of the rarest of this condition and to make it worse he has sinusoids and this is what can prove fatal.
He has continued to defy odds and after all this, their doctors withdrew the medicine that helped him. He has not succumbed but he is still strong and hanging on. I was told there is a hospital in Texas that treats this defect and that they are willing to take a look at his files.
I am kindly asking anyone who can contribute with whatever they can to raise some funds so that I can get a second opinion. I simply cannot wait and see my baby dying when I know there are other places that can help. For that we need your support and may you please consider reading our story.
