My name is Shari Vallejos and I am reaching out on behalf of The Brotherhood of the Knights of Columbus who are asking for your support of their Brother Knight, Lenny Castillo.

Lenny has suffered quietly with diverticulitis most of his adult life, but he never expected it to become a medical emergency keeping him in the hospital for an entire week and out of work for up to 4 months.  The resulting medical bills and loss of income will make it extremely difficult to support the family.

Lenny is a loving father, husband, son and amazing friend.  He endlessly sacrifices and has donated his talents, time and energy to St. Martin's parish, the Knights of Columbus and countless others in our community.   He has touched many lives by being a soccer coach for umpteen years, Booster President and 2nd Dad to three graduating classes of young advanced vocal ensemble (Vivace) singers out of Esperanza High School, Us in the Son support Dad, and Grand Knight multiple years of our Knights of Columbus where he currently presides as District Deputy.   Most of us have enjoyed his family's delicious Mexican delicacies at Oktoberfest over the past 34 years, not to mention the food he shops for, preps and serves at countless ministry functions.  It's no wonder he was named Catholic Man of the Year for St. Martin's parish.

We come together in times of need to support one another.  In Lenny's time of need, a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated in helping our beloved friend.  

The beneficiary for this campaign is Lenny's wife, Nicole Castillo.  She will withdraw funds to cover lost wages and pay medical expenses as Lenny is recovering.
