Lenny Atherton ACL Operation Fund

Folkestone Invicta and Deal Town 1st team player Lenny Atherton suffered an ACL injury during Deal Town's FA Cup tie with Lydd Town on 28th August 2023.

Lenny joined Folkestone Invicta Youth at the age of 7 and has progressed all the way through to the U18s, including joining the Academy where he has passed his first two years with flying colours and is still at the Academy on the Higher Education programme.

Lenny broke into the Folkestone Invicta 1st team at the age of 17 and has since joined Deal Town on a dual registration to help his development as a footballer.

We are looking to raise funds to assist Lenny with the cost of an operation to rebuild his ACL. The cost of the operation is approximately £8,000.

The club will also be looking to organise a friendly fixture in the future to assist in raising funds.
