Lennox was born on December 16th, 2021 at 37 weeks due to his mom (Annaleesah) having gestational hypertension. Everything went smoothly for baby and momma for the first 2.5 weeks until suddenly Lennox starting to throw up his bottles, started to have a hard time breathing, and started to turn blue. Annaleesah and Justin rushed their son to the ER where they were immediately taken back. The doctors ran labs, a chest x-ray and a CT scan. Lennox’s oxygen levels came back very low and he was then admitted. Lennox started to have episodes where he wouldn’t take a breath for 20/30 seconds which is called apnea. They put him on oxygen to help with this, but it still occasionally happens, which as you can imagine is extremely scary for Annaleesah and Justin. The doctors put him on a reflux precaution as they noticed a lot of the time the episodes where after he ate. They did a swallow study and determined that after eating just 1oz, Lennox was aspirating and was very fatigued from eating. They have decided to put him on a feeding tube for now, but may have to put a tube in his belly instead as he’s starting to pull on the tubes. The doctors have ran an MRI, but we are still waiting on the results for that. Currently, the doctors are thinking he may have CHS (Central Hypoventialation Syndrome). Lennox has been in the hospital for 4 days now, but unfortunately sounds like he’s going to be there for a little while still.
