Hi there! We're Northern Mayo, a collective of young filmmakers from the Glasgow area. We've spent the last few years producing a number of student films, advertisements for local businesses, and capturing live music and theatre performances - in the hope of honing our technical and storytelling skills. We recently completed work on what we hope will be our first official short film, an analog/found-footage horror entitled, 'Lennox-Friedkin Tape #004'. Now, we need your help to get it out into the world!
The film, taking the form of a 1980s Open University-style VHS tape, follows an ambitious scientist and his assistant as they document the trial of a revolutionary new invention: a device that reveals what you see when you die...

In a world where the most up-to-date camera is paramount, we went against the grain and shot the film entirely on VHS-C tape (a rewarding but admittedly costly achievement), in order to achieve an authentic, period-accurate look! This is something that highlights our commitment to storytelling and we sincerely believe audiences will appreciate.

We'd love to be able to submit the film to some festivals, but this can be an expensive process. Between submission fees, promotional materials, and the occasional travel cost, these fees can quickly add up. We’ve already funded the production and post-production processes ourselves, but now we’re asking for a little help to get over the finish line.
Any donation at all would be greatly appreciated, but as an incentive to support the cause, we will be offering a private link to the finished film for anyone who donates £20 or more. That way, you can see it before anyone else!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our page, and we hope you will consider supporting us on this journey!
