Lennie's Brain Surgery

This is Lennie. She is a 10-week old Scottish Terrier. My wife always dreamed of having a Scotty. She has told me this since the day I met her 10 years ago. I recently had the opportunity to get her a puppy and quickly pulled the trigger.

She might be the sweetest thing that has ever come into our lives and it breaks our hearts to describe the following.

Lennie has been suffering from seizures for the last week. After multiple vet visits and long nights, she was finally diagnosed. 

On June 22nd we were told that she has a rare condition called meningo-encephalocele, which is an abnormal sac of fluid, brain tissue, and meninges (membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord) that extends through a defect in the skull.

Without neurosurgery, there is a small chance that Lennie will live a long and happy life. We are able to subdue her seizures and she is not in any pain currently but we are so scared it is going to get worse, quickly. 

This GoFundMe is to raise the funds to get her the surgery she needs and to keep purchasing the anti-seizure medication in the meantime.
