Talented, smart, sweet, and conscientious, Leni has learned to overcome obstacles through positive thinking, excelling at academics, and focusing on her passions. And what Leni is most passionate about is dance. Beginning at age 8, Leni exhibited a natural talent for rhythm, movement, and fluidity, and her dream is to become a professional dancer. As her favorite subject is history, she aspires to be a part of history by one day adding her name to the list of black women who’ve put in the work and had the remarkable talent to make their mark in the world of dance.

To her family’s surprise and delight, this witty and determined young lady has been accepted into the Alvin Ailey Junior Division Summer Intensive Program, which takes place in New York City. She and her family would be so grateful for whatever you can contribute toward reaching her goal so that she can attend the program.
