Hi, my name is Juan de Dios Inzunza. On Friday, July 9th 2021, Lenin Valdes passed away due to a devastating accident.

Lenin and I grew up together. From elementary all the way through high school and college. He was my closest friend. He was a part of my family and I was a part of his. He was either always at my house, or I was always at his. You couldn’t separate us.

Lenin served about three years in the army. He was a kind, hardworking, and loving man. Anyone he met loved him and always made them laugh. To him it didn’t matter if you knew him for a few days, or a few years. He would talk to you as if you guys knew each other. He made you feel heard and would always be there for you.

His family is grieving his loss right now. We thought everything was figured out with the funeral but there was a last minute conflict and we have to now find a new burial site.

I decided to make this go fund me to help alleviate some of the stress that his mother and the rest of his family is going through. I myself am still shaken up and a bit confused about everything.
