Let's lend our brother, Jeff Knapp, a hand! Shortly before Christmas, Jeff was serving a family in our community when he fell off of a ladder and shattered the area around his wrist. Unfortunately, this injury was incurred on his right hand, which is his dominant hand.
Jeff has had a really positive attitude throughout this injury process. "What do you do as a one-handed handyman?" he says. "And I thought getting used to having just one eye was pretty tough! #KnappCoHomeServices may have some upcoming scheduling delays. But it seems #DaddyKnappVO has a lot of free time to work on new voiceover projects."
In all seriousness, the injury has become a rather costly one, not to mention the fact that it's put Jeff out of work for at least six weeks. Jeff is one of the most servant-hearted leaders that we know. He's given many of us a hand in our time of need, and now this is our opportunity to lend him a hand!
Here is the most recent update from Jeff:
"I had surgery to install a metal plate. The doctor is managing my pain well and my wife’s parents have decided to stay in town, through this weekend, to help us with the kids. The doctor confirmed that I will be unable to work for six weeks after the surgery. Obviously, that is our major dilemma, since we don’t have six weeks worth of money saved up to cover that. This whole situation is forcing me to stop and consider my future career options. The doctor cannot guarantee me that I will be able to successfully do construction after my recovery from surgery. There may be some long-term implications to this injury that would keep me from being able to do many things. I have been trying to become a voiceover actor for some time, that’s what I wish I could do. Maybe this is the opportunity to pursue that full force. Regardless, we would appreciate your prayers for peace and provision, patience and purpose throughout this process. Thank you!"
