Hi all!
I wanted to raise awareness for Yolanda Jeronimo, a member of our cleaning staff here in Chelsea. I got to know Yolanda for the past 4 years. She is very quiet and sweet and always was a pleasure to chat with, even with her busy schedule.
I recently found out that her husband of 32 years (Gerardo Jeronimo) passed away from COVID-19 this past April. He was a waiter at a restaurant and also drove an Uber to help pay the bills. He left behind Yolanda and their 4 daughters and she is trying to figure out how to manage their bills and paperwork. Yolanda very quietly told me about this in passing but I could tell it has deeply affected her and her family.
She has always said she loves the people here at Chelsea and its energy. I was hoping we could also demonstrate a bit of our support for her by giving her a small gift that could make a big impact on her family and demonstrate the warmth of our broader WeWork community.
