Lending a hand to the Willis Family
Donation protected
Tis the Season to reach out and make a difference. Many of you have been praying for the Willis Family.
Eric recently suffered a heart situation that required a pacemaker be placed inside him. As these symptoms were arising, his daughter Leila had rather intensive knee surgery. Aleica has her own health issues, as does their oldest daughter Jenna and son Kelsay. All require Physical Therapy and Doctor Appointments to be juggled throughout the week for each person. This family must have a car for transportation. Because of surgery, Eric is on disability (only able to use one hand, restrictions, etc) with only a percentage of his regular salary.
As is so often the case, when you are down, something else goes wrong. We’ve all been there. But for this family, struggling so hard to do the right thing, this is a blow that hits hard. Their van that they bought last year and won’t have paid off until 2025 — the transmission just blew.
In order to fix it is $4800, there is no way they have the money at this time to pay for such a large repair. Eric and Aleica and their children have been there for so many of us. Let’s all of us be there for them and help them through this time of struggle.
Prayer is their most important need. Please pray for them. Thank you. But if you can contribute and give whatever you can, small or large, I think together we can show our love and that we are all part of the Body of Christ reaching out and caring for each other. Thank you for your prayers, love, and assistance for this wonderful loving family.
