Lending a Hand to Jay's Healing Journey

A lot of you know that Thursday evening my dad had an accident and fell off a 15ft ladder and ended up at Fairview Ridges ER.

after a CT, it was determined he had a couple breaks in his back and several fractured ribs and a fracture C1 bone in his neck. Thankfully it doesn’t look like he will need surgery, so the main goal is manage pain which has been very up and down so he will remain in the hospital until pain is better and he gets through some PT and can move on his own. He’s going to be in a back brace for awhile. He’s got a ways to go to recover from this. My dad is not the type that sits around, he’s always moving or doing something. He’s also self employed and it’s already been a slow year for him so far and now the anxiety of not being able to work at all has already set in. My dad would give the shirt off his back if you asked, so I’m hoping that with some help it will take off some of the financial burden he is going to be faced with.
