Lend A Hand Foundation

The lend a hand foundation was founded by a group of friends looking to help spread positivity and change in the GTA. Our current mission involves us collecting funds in order to help the homeless in the GTA. The first chunk of the donations received will go towards creating care packages to give to the homeless in the GTA. In these packages, we will be putting items in such as; articles of clothing, hygienic products, toiletries, non perishable food items etc. The goal here is to provide the homeless with essential items they need on a daily basis and items to help them get through the harsh Canadian winter.
Another chunk of the donations received would go towards hosting a food truck in downtown Toronto for the homeless. Many of the homeless people rarely get the chance to enjoy a hot meal and we would like to provide them with one. A hot meal is something we feel like everyone deserves, especially during a cold winter day. It’s very cliché to say but every dollar does count!
