This is my cousin Amy Belk Hagar and her twin boys, Austin and Gavin. Amy lost her husband from the flu when their twins were toddlers. She has been raising them on her own for many years. She worked full time for over 20 years until several unfortunate medical tragedies occurred. She has had many neck surgeries and spinal fusions. She has lower back issues as well. The worst of the issues occurred as a result of a terribly infected carpal tunnel surgery which resulted in numerous surgeries. As a result of the infection and multiple surgeries, she has virtually no use of her hand. She is no longer able to work and has been awaiting a disability hearing for years. Her severe neck and back disease, along with a dominant hand that has no function, leaves her unable to work. She is in danger of having their home foreclosed and worries daily about providing the basic needs for her boys. Please donate any amount you can.
