Help The Everidge Family
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am asking for any help we can on the behalf of a dear friend, co-worker, and devoted husband/wife duo, Lee and Carol Everidge. On Saturday, March 4, 2023, Lee fell ill unexpectedly after doing what he does best, working in the yard and taking care of his flowers. He began not feeling well and just took it easy as he could the next day. When the time came around to go to work he was not feeling well at all but he went anyway and was quickly sent back home. He was very weak, pale, hard to breathe, and had many other symptoms...he was taken to see a doctor where testing was done for COVID, Flu, Pneumonia, you know, the regular most common illnesses these days but he was sent home with negative results for all and was told to follow up with a Specialist the next week because they did notice his white blood cells were very low. A couple of days later he was still not doing too well so Carol took him back and found that he had Pneumonia and Influenza A, needless to say, he was admitted to the hospital that night. Over the next couple of days, things began to go downhill with Lee's health. He ended up getting Sepsis had a Heart Attack and is now in ICU waiting to be transported to another hospital further away for more testing for Leukemia.
During this time neither Lee nor Carol has been able to work and bills are not going to stop, food and gas aren't free, and housing isn't being provided for Carol. We want to make it possible for Carol to be by her husband's side every minute she can even when he is moved over an hour away for at least a month. We are asking for anyone that is able to donate to help this family so that worrying is the last thing they have to do. Lee is a fighter and we want to see him come home worry-free.
Please help any way you can everything is appreciated!
