Lend a Hand to Vicki and Jack Miller
Donation protected
On Monday, May 19th, Jack and Vicki Miller’s home was devastated by a fire that left it nearly a total loss. Thankfully, by the grace of God, they were able to escape safely with their three beloved dogs and their Bibles. While their home and nearly all of their possessions were destroyed, their faith, their love for each other, and their commitment to serving others remain strong.
Jack and Vicki have spent their lives working hard and giving back. They’ve both recently retired after many years of dedication and perseverance, hoping to enjoy peaceful and well-deserved time off. They have consistently volunteered through their local church in various roles, and most recently, they've been helping to sort food for those in need at the Clay County Outreach.
In the days ahead, Jack and Vicki face numerous challenges: covering their insurance deductible, securing longer term housing, and managing the cost of food and daily necessities. They’ll also need to replace essential furniture, appliances, clothing, and household items as they begin the long road to recovery.
Through it all, Jack and Vicki remain grounded in their faith. As strong believers, they trust that even in the midst of hardship, God has a purpose. Their relationship with the Lord and with each other continues to be their source of strength and hope.
They are also deeply grateful to have their children, Chrystal, Aaron, and Kayla, close by during this difficult time. The support of family and community are blessings they do not take for granted.
If you feel led to support them, any donation, no matter the size, will go directly to helping them get back on their feet. Your kindness, generosity, and most importantly, your prayers mean more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with Jack and Vicki as they begin to rebuild.
