Hi, my name is Mary Jo Clark. I am raising money to help my friends, the Quimbys. They are a wonderful family experiencing a lot of turmoil in their life right now. Travis Quimby was recently diagnosed with renal cancer as well as a disorder that is causing his liver and spleen to double in size and is killing his platelets. This has been a shocking blow for Travis and the whole family.

Travis was forced to make the choice to leave his current job because they threatened that he would lose his position if he was "out too long" for his health treatments. He quickly found a new job, and they will welcome him back after his surgery and healing. Unfortunately, being new, he hasn't built up time off and will be unpaid for the whole month of December.

This is a wonderful, caring, hardworking family. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Casey Quimby as a radiation therapist, fighting cancer every day. Casey gives 100% to our patients and to her coworkers.

Travis and Casey have two great kids: Tyler is 15 and Rylee is 8.

Not only is this a very difficult situation to begin with, but it also is happening during the holidays.
