Jeff Burdett has been hospitalized for the previous month and undergone multiple surgical procedures during this time. Jeff previously served Bedford County as the Planning and Zoning/E&S Administrator from 1989-2000. Jeff currently represents District 2 on the Bedford County Planning Commission, a position he has held since 2012, serving as Chairman twice.
Jeff’s involvement with Mariners Landing, located in Huddleston, started over two decades ago, being on the development team from 2000-2017, and also serving on the Mariners Landing Community Association board since 2002.
Jeff enjoys serving the Blue Ridge Holiness Camp as a board member and trustee. As a founding member, board member, trustee, and the sound engineer, Jeff is very involved in his volunteer roles at EastLake Church. Jeff enjoyed being a Cheer parent and was on the parent team for Synergy and Fame winning multiple national championship awards.
We are pleased to announce that Jeff is on the mend and moving out of the hospital and into inpatient rehab today! As someone who has given so much in service to our community, please consider giving back.
