Lend a Hand to Tara in Her Time of Need

Hi everyone, my name is Tara, as most of you know. Sunday night, I was coming down the stairs and had stepped down off the last stair onto a sandal while my other foot was coming off that last stair. Well, once my foot hit the sandal, my ankle immediately rolled, and I fell full force on my right foot. I thought I was okay, but within hours, that was not the case anymore. I have a closed non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone on my right foot.

So… most of you know I am a server and on my feet constantly, and I will not be able to go back to work for probably 4 weeks, hoping not the 6-8 which may be recommended at my next appointment in 3 weeks. I’m single and have no one but myself to financially rely on. I’m very concerned about how fast these bills are going to pile up and not sure what I am going to do. Here’s the thing: I am very independent and don’t like to ask for anything from anyone, but I’m in a position where I feel maybe it’s time to ask for help. If anyone could possibly donate to help me get through this emotionally trying time, I would be forever grateful. I know times are tough, so I’m not expecting people to carry my burden; just figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask for a helping hand. If you cannot donate, I totally understand.
