Hi friends, Kate here. Most of know me as that strong, independent woman who built her own cabin(s). But, medical stuff happened and I was not financially prepared for it. So, here I am asking for any and all help I can get! Love you all!

This strong and independent woman could surely use your help! 

As many of you know, I am 2 weeks post surgery for an unprepared removal of my orange-sized cyst on my ovary, right ovary, right fallopian tube & an appendix double the size it should have been.

My inability to move, normally, basically put a hault on my life. I missed 1.5 weeks of work and can now only lift 10-20 lbs before feeling weak again.

Post surgery had me in the ER with a pneumonia and blood clot in my lung (all currently being managed by medication). This is not the strong Kate we all know.

This is the weak, vulnerable and full-cry Kate we never want to see. I know times are absolutely hard for everyone so I can understand if you cannot donate. I got lucky with a supportive boyfriend and mother (both of whom have been helping with meals and my attitude). What I need most is positive words if affirmarion.

My follow up appointment is this Thursday. I cannot thank my fellow co-workers enough for helping me how they can during this trying time. Much love in advance. Just know I hate asking, but, I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t really need it!
