HELP THE HELPER AFTER LOSS OF MOTHER

ITS A SURPRISE……..Hello! My name is Romair Parrett Sr. I am a 40-year-old police officer, and I am the son of Ronnie Parrett Sr. and the late Beatrice Stroud, who passed away suddenly in 2018 due to pneumonia and complications from kidney disease she had been battling for 5-6 years.
Since the loss of my mother, who my dad has been with for over 40 years, I have watched my dad fight through depression and medical issues as he has been dealing with COPD for about 20 years. He has also been dealing with the weight of paying bills and supporting numerous friends, family, and people in the community. I have seen my dad cry more in the last 7 years than I have seen him cry in 40 years of my life.
My dad has been my biggest HERO ever since I was a little kid, and he has also gone above and beyond for people he loves and cares about without asking for anything in return. He currently works at General Motors, where he has been for over 15 years, and prior to that, he was working at another power plant named (The Wax Factory). My dad has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met, and even when people don't ask for a helping hand, he is always the first to help.
My dad is currently 71 years old and is still working with a stent in his heart from suffering a heart attack when he was 40 years old. He also needs a knee replacement that he should have had done 15 years ago but put off until now. I talk to my dad every day, and every day I talk to him, he tells me how tired he is of working and waking up every night to go to work from 11 pm-7 am, which is the shift he has been working all of his life. He is still currently working because he feels he will be bored at home without his job, and also he feels that he can't afford to retire because I personally think he loves to help people so much he is always thinking about the "what if" factors where if something happens, he wants to be available financially to assist people without clearing out his bank account.
So I know this platform is usually for emergencies and tragedies, so I really didn't want to take this route, but at the time, this is all I could think of in the short amount of time I have, so here I am. So as a son, as a little boy, I think every child's dream was to grow up and get rich so they could take care of their parents as most kids feel their parents deserve the world, but as we know, reality sets in when you grow up, and you realize that it probably won't happen that way. So now at 40 years old, I have a 9-year-old son, and I am a police officer serving my community and supporting my own family and not financially able to give my dad the gift I think he deserves as he is finally about to retire officially on April 1st at 71 years old after working since he was 17 years old. He has never asked anyone for anything, and the things that I know he wants the most I am not in the position to give him, which is a brand new truck (not sure exactly which one at the moment lol) paid off or at least 90% paid off.
So my hopes are to raise enough money so I can walk into a dealership or just give him the money to go on his own for him to go so he can pick one out. By me losing my mom 7 years ago, I regret that I wasn't able to give her the things I know she deserved, so I want to at least try to make this one thing happen for my dad on his retirement day to show him how much my siblings and I appreciate him as he has done SO much for other people and has NEVER received anything back in return. It would mean so much for anyone to make contributions to this fundraiser or share as much as possible for it to reach the right person who could help us reach this goal.
IF YOU KNOW HIM PLEASE KEEP THIS A SECRET!!!!
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
