Lend a Hand to Noni's Gender Affirming Surgery

Hi my name is Noni.

Im a Trans Filipino & Indo- Fijian woman. My whole life I’ve battled with poor body image and gender dysphoria from being bullied from those around me. I never felt like I truly was able to feel like I belonged. There are days where I’m ok then days where I don’t like to see myself in the mirror making it hard to live. For those who know me I love being able to help those around me. Coming from a family of nurses I was taught to be able to always help others out and not worry about myself. As much as it is fulfilling helping everyone and those around me it’s also made it difficult to take care of myself.

I work as a front desk receptionist during the day and at night I’m a drag performer. Although it seems like I have the confidence as a performer, behind that I still suffer from the way I look and perceive myself. Performing helps me forget about myself cus I can easily just put on makeup but it’s gotten to the point where I need to focus on making sure I feel as good on the inside as well as the outside. which is why I’m pursuing getting FFS (Femininization Facial Surgery) to help align myself comfortably in my gender identity. Having this surgery means so much to me because it would help heal the years I’ve battled gender dysphoria as well as finally being able to see myself as confidently and unapologetically myself.

I don’t have all the money in the world living in SF I have to have 2 jobs to make a living. I pay for all my medical expenses as well as my car, food, and etc so it’s difficult to find extra funds when all my money goes to the essentials I need to survive. I know everyone in this world is going through some form of hardship which is why I feel like mine doesn’t equate to others and leads me not being able to feel like I can ask for help when I need it. I’m just asking community if there’s any way you can help me out by helping donate, sharing, reposting my story, any way you can I’m so grateful for any help I can get towards my surgery.
