Lend a Hand to My Recovery

I’m asking for help with medical bills and some accrued debt as my health has taken an aggressive nose dive within these last two years.

Even while injured with a bulging disc, torn hip labrum, and Achilles tendinopathy, I still grinded hard to make ends meet working a new career in Hawaii last year. We sold everything we loved and took a leap of faith. We had tremendous results but unfortunately my health kept declining in which I had to take a sabbatical.

With my health still on a steady decrease we really wondered what was wrong. It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with a rare GI condition that didn’t allow food to pass, that then led to me being in an aggressive calorie deficit which led to malnourishment. I was on a feeding tube for four months up until about a month ago which I am now trying to fight to stay off of it.(Doctors wanted me to stay on it but I decided to go off of it and try my luck[ feeding tube is miserable]).

My wife has been working full-time through all of this—keeping us going, covering our basic needs, and doing her best to keep us from drowning. We’ve done everything we can to hold on. But between medical bills and debt from this long stretch of health challenges, we’re in deep.
